I have spent my life in outdoor sports, from climbing to backpacking to rafting to mountaineering. Through these endeavor, I heard repeating trend of comments from female friends about their dissatisfaction with women’s outdoor gear. Common remarks were typically the inconsiderate sizing, pandering colors option or the complete lack of women specific options especially with a higher performance focus.

For my senior cap stone project of Industrial Design wanted to focus on inclusivity in outdoor recreation to create the a high performance rescue Personal Floatation Device (PFD) designed specifically for woman to help everyone preform at their best and enjoy the outdoors as much as I have.
