MY STORY
I grew up in San Jose, California. After high school I moved to the Pacific Northwest to pursue a life spent outdoors, mountaineering and traveling the world. A lifestyle that underscores efficiency with resources, novelty with problem solving and respect for what’s around you.
Like any great travel story, it ends with going home. In 2014, I moved to San Francisco to be closer to family but continue my education, completing my degree in Industrial Design with an emphasis in Product Design from San Francisco State University.
Professionally, I have focused on implementing modern digital design and manufacturing into entrenched disciplines of traditional craftsmanship. Finding thoughtful solutions to chronic problems and implementing them at scale. I concentrate my work on prioritizing honest design, mindful production, and minimizing waste.
These days, I hone my passions through restoration craftsmanship. From furniture, tools, automotive or clothing, I love finding thoughtfully designed objects and bringing back some well-loved luster. I’m an avid woodworker and I’ve spent the past few years completely rebuilding my 1975 BMW R90/6 Motorcycle. My most recent endeavor has been learning Sashiko, a style of Japanese embroidery used to repair/decorate damaged clothing.
